What We Do
At Shepherdson Podiatry we treat all ages and all types of foot problems.

The most common reasons people attend podiatry are:
-Regular nail and corn care
-Routine callus reduction including dry heels
-Diabetic foot assessments
-Plantar warts
-Arch and heel pain
-Ankle, knee and shin pain
-Conservative treatment of ingrown toenails (we do not surgically remove nails or use aneasthetic)

Our management options include various approaches such as taping, stretching, footwear or orthotics. We will work with you and your activities to customise the best management option for your situation.
Who We See
You do not require a referral to be seen by a podiatrist privately.

If you have a workers compensation claim, DVA card or are on an EPC program with your GP we will need your referral at your visit.

We have a HICAPS machine in our clinic therefore you can claim your private health insurance instantly if you bring your current card to your appointment.

You are required to pay the consultation fee at the time of service, we accept Eftpos, visa credit, mastercard credit and cash. Our initial consultation is $65 and standard consultation is $55, if you have a health care card or pension card you will receive $5 off the consult fee.
Orthotics
Orthotics are a common reason people visit podiatrists. Orthotics are used to adjust the movement of the foot during walking/running.

At Shepherdson Podiatry we use the latest technology in 3D scanning to customise your orthotics. These are the gold standard in orthotic therapy.

We do offer pre-moulded orthotics which are a great option for those with short term problems or kids who will outgrow customised orthotics rapidly. Brie is able to adjust your pre-moulded orthotics to suit your foot a little better.
